I neeeeed tacos!
Today was Taco Tuesday, despite being Wednesday, because the office is a big fan of alliteration. I did some prep work and some food hauling, and due to last minute changes I got my cowboy hat and my navy coat because with a TexMex creation like this a Texas Ranger is always welcome. Plus, it was the outfit I was going to wear to Dickens Faire and didn't get the chance to.
Unbeknownst to me, a co-worker had decided that Taco Day, much like Rex Manning Day, must be celebrated. He had festooned the conference room with paper chile peppers, tiny plastic maracas, and an inflatable cactus, and there were no less than three sombreros in attendance.
Then as a bonus treat we were regaled with the tale of Goat on a Stick. All in all, not a bad lunch.
Hopefully, this news will go over better than the Great Gatsby Video Game from yesterday, but file under "Gay News" and "About Damned Time": The President begins to suspect that DOMA might not actually embody Liberty and Justice For All.
