Bloodsucking Fiends!

Yeah, I know. I *just* posted. But this is different! With the holiday weekend, this is your IFIAYAQ! Day question! Woot!
Plus, I want your advice.

So I'm writing a story, and one of the supporting characters is a vampire who feeds on sexual tension rather than blood. Is naming him Thomas Collin too 'on the nose'?

Because I'm a rebel and I still follow IFAMAQ

Who the heck puts 'common figures of speech' in 'quotation marks' any more?

I'm going to plead ignorance at whatever wittiness you're attempting with the name to point out that Jim Butcher named a vampire who feeds off emotions/sexual tension "Thomas", and that that was where my brain first went to.

I didn't think of anything literary, but I suddenly had a hankerin' for gin and seven up.

Yeah, I didn't catch the Twilight reference either. I went with Tom Collins from Rent. :)
