I'm looking at Kindle accessories, thinking about a cover for my Yuletide present. Right now I'm leaning toward repurposed books, something like I think Roisnoir would come up with. I'm leery of things that would cover the keyboard, or insets that would make clicking the 'turn page' buttons inaccessible, and I'm looking for suggestions from either Kindle readers or artists or Kindle artists.

That one also comes with velcro, and the straps don't appear to hit any keys. But yes, it's more to present the concept of what I'm looking for rather than "I'm buying this one".

Does a neoprene sleeve also make it bathtub safe?

A ziploc bag makes it bathtub safe, assuming you're not submerging it.

Protip: put the Kindle in so that the "Ziploc" logo is on the back. It's much easier to read that way.

That or write the book text over the logo. That way you're not missing anything.
