Hell, I barely manage the responsibility in driving an automobile at 65 mph. I'm sure not ready to manage something more damage oriented. So did we know, going in, that there was no real worry about biological chemical or nuclear weapons? If so, what was the rush to invade? Did we honestly think that what Iraqi people wanted was to have a democracy installed for them sometime in the next five years and to have their country used as a base of operations for further democratization of the region? And what I'm posturing is that I'm misanthropic enough that if I had a gun there would be days when I'd be strongly tempted to use it. I don't have any delusions that the system would actually care if I tried to 'punish' it. It would roll over me and keep going, like an Israeli tank.
