I'm on the highway to hell
My faith in the basic goodness of humanity was reinforced yesterday. There was this guy in a 'guaranteed speedy delivery' truck who had been waiting two minutes to make a lane change, turn signal and all, in stop and go traffic. I love people who use turn signals and communicate when they drive, so I made sure to give him room to squeeze in.
And in a true 'Pay It Forward' moment, not a mile and a half down the road, this guy nearly rammed somebody who was trying to make a lane change, turn signal and all, in stop and go traffic.
And in further Iraq news, it appears that one of our generals says that sneaky Saddam Hussein had planned all along to lose the war and then plan ineffective guerilla raids on the conquering force, just to show us. I expect that, if this was his plan, he'll start using all those WMDs that he spirited away on US forces next week.
