Initial Entry
I've been reading my friend Larry's weblogs and finally decided that if I was really as self-centred as I claimed to be I should have an online journal of my own. It seems to be a good time for beginnings--I moved into a new house this weekend, and will hopefully have a new job next week. Packing is at least to a point where I can go lie down on my bed (I love my bed. It's huge and black, wrought iron work and black flannel sheets and black satin pillowcases. I love lying in bed, feeling all warm and safe.) but not to where I can actually use the kitchen yet. I and my house mate, who moved with me, are still sorting out territorial issues and compromises in 'this is how things are done' categories. We'd been living together for some nine months before, so much of the groundwork has been laid, but space is tighter here than it was.
I run a game of which I'm rather fond, and my players are insane. We're prodding at the idea of running one-shots on the occasional weekends--I brought it up because I had lots of ideas that were completely unsustainable in a campaign format but would play well for one afternoon. Ah yes. The reason I brought all that up--our first post-move gaming session is tonight, and it may be about the only thing I accomplish today. I futzed around with books, organising my scripts and some comics. So I'm feeling like a big slug now. Welcome to my world.
