Say it with me, Frenchie!
So the churry I made last weekend was all fine and good and edible and whatnot (especially with the addition of some salt or corn chips or yogurt or something) but it left an emotional void that cried out for real chili.
So there was a pound of grass-fed ground beef, fresh okra, and squash at Farmer's Market as well as two tins of tomatoes, one of beans, half a sauteed onion and a metric assload of chili powder and probably some other stuff that 'looked good at the time'. (I think some leftover salsa and pepper sauce, among other things.) And now there is glorious overnight fridge chili.
