Here comes another winter of long shadows and high hopes
Last week was insane. I couldn't go to sleep until at least two or three in the morning, which is nothing unusual, but I had to get up at seven or earlier because of the FrameMaker class I took.
So on Saturday I crashed and died, and on Sunday I did some gardening--we dug in a few plants so that there would be something nice and growing for the social that Avalon is hosting in a couple of weeks for FLtD.
Editing the resume today, to add the class, and pushing it out to the people who had old versions, and then looking for new people to get it again. Back on the job hunt. Knock wood.
I got to see Scott and Emily and Ambar and Susannah on Friday, when I decided I was too tired to go all the way home at once and stopped at BookBuyers. I also found a new The The album which fed into the high school music nostalgia thing that inspired me to formulate a track list for a 'High School Music Mix CD'. It's now over a hundred tracks, so it'd probably be saved in mp3 format with folders for new wave, pop, punk, and other classifications.
This weekend is our Pirate Cruise around the Bay. I have my costume nearly done, and Dave has done me the honour of loaning me his Jaunty Hat(tm). I hope the wind does not fling it into the ocean.
