So, long ago, I was dating a girl who got infuriated when I explained to her that The Wizard of Oz was a dark political thriller with Dorothy as a catspaw of Glinda. When I read "Wicked" I felt somewhat justified, but I cried with relief today when I found out that somebody believed me!

....Weird. I didn't have to login, and I was going from work.
Regardless, it's nothing really new. It just goes into product reps talking with script writers and "Hey, these characters haven't eaten. Maybe they could get some fast food." "Well, yeah, but it's the PotUS and he's in hiding...." "Okay, maybe not. Let's try another angle."

Watch it 50 times, and you'll see more than that. Now, a well done film, say, Finding Nemo, will just be a nice movie about a dad looking for his missing son, no weird interpretations, even if you do see it 50 times.
