Uuuuuuuuh

I thought the whole point of Steam was that you could log in from anywhere and play your games without needing the discs. Today at the office I downloaded a few of the games onto my laptop so I could make some progress this weekend while dogsitting.
Apparently my saves are not part of my games. Does Steam only store those data locally?

I think so, yes. Mine are stored locally.

Just put your saves on a flash drive?

oooo. That's a thought.

I thought there was a cloud save game feature, but you might have to turn it on.

It depends on the game, basically. I'm pretty sure most of the Valve titles support cloud saving but the others may or may not.

Plants vs Zombies offers cloud saving. Um, that's pretty much all I play on Steam. XD
