Warning: Contains Profanity and, honestly, little else

This headline popped up this morning on my Yahoo! News page.

Next ten days most critical of campaign
In an unpredictable race, Republican candidates are running out of time to land the nomination.

SERIOUSLY? ARE YOU PULLING MY GOD DAMNED LEG? THE NEXT TEN FUCKING DAYS? THE VERY MOST CRITICAL? RUNNING OUT OF FUCKING TIME??? WHEN NOT A SINGLE MOTHERFUCKING ELECTORAL VOTE OUT OF FIVE FUCKING HUNDRED AND THIRTY EIGHT--which, if my math skills do not fail me, equals ZERO PERCENT OF THE MOTHERFUCKING ELECTORAL COLLEGE--HAS EVEN BEEN CAST?
DO YOU KNOW WHY THE FUCKING DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM HAS FAILED US? DO YOU? EVEN A GUESS? BECAUSE I'VE GOT A FUCKING INKLING.
FOR FUCKING FUCK'S FUCK.

That certainly demonstrates the versatility of the word.

Hyperbolical headlines are hyperbolical.

Umm, okay, but you do not need a single electoral vote to be nominated.

Also, you are not alone in your sentiment. Go here, and find the last bastion of intelligent political commentary.

You have a valid point. Thank you.
However, there is a similar horse race for the nomination--I believe Republicans collect... delegates, or perhaps the tears of the innocent.

And I will have to check out Carlin and see if I can keep up with him better than I do with WWDTM.
(Oh hey! Pete DeFazio!)

Your are right, they (and the Democrats) collect something -- I believe it's money, although I think the official name is delegates.

Carlin is pretty easy to keep up with, he only puts out commentaries about once a fortnight. He talks fast, assumes you have a brain between your ears, and is not a fan of either party. (At one point he dreamed about a Dennis Kucinich/Ron Paul ticket.)

Oh my. I might be strongly tempted to vote for a Kucinich/Paul ticket. Less so for a Paul/Kucinich ticket, though I still probably would, depending on who they were up against.

*HUG* I miss you.
