I like food, food is good

Sort of a laid back moving day. Gave up on the 'moving CD shelves with CDs on them' idea. We put together our pantry and Leigh Ann bought In+Out for us to eat while we watched Buffy. And it was messy and drippy and greasy and other good things.
Then I went to gaming, where I managed to find homes for six bags of video cassettes and somebody who is interested in the vinyl too.
And now I go to bed before the start of a three day work week.
After which comes the three day weekend of moving crunch. And BayCon, if I can make it. Maybe Friday night--so tell Jen that if she wants to get drunk and throw herself at a man, she should plan it for then.

Also: I'm working on a present for a friend I don't see very much of any more. One of the things I want to include is a poem to tell her how special she is. If anybody has favorites or suggestions, please feel free to mention them to me.

I don't know much from poetry, but I've always liked Gibran's "The Prophet." On Friendship. (http://www.columbia.edu/~gm84/gibran19.html) May call for some pronoun-altering.
