Uh, I believe that Pat Robertson, et. al. are only asking for the removal of three. Kennedy, Ginsberg, and one I forget.
But then, I heard about this story on The Daily Show, which gave the story as much respect as it really deserves. (That is to say, I was audibly laughing by the end of the piece.)
He hasn't named names. He's mentioned an 83-year-old, a cancer survivor and somebody with 'heart problems' and people he'd think it would be a good idea for God to convince to retire, if God were thinking such a thing would be a good idea. But there were six naughty justices who are driving this country into the sodomizing hands of Satan (how's that for a visual image?) and he has said that if only three of them retire they could be replaced by G-Bu's right-thinking conservative justices who would put the 'God' back in 'Smiting the Godless Heathens'.
Easily, the lowest (erm. Most conservative, politically) court since the halcyon days of the Berger Court. But we never claimed Pat was the brains of the Religious Right.
