My mind is clearer now. At last, all too well, I can see...
Ripping music to the hard drive all evening--overdosing on showtunes. This evening I've listened to Godspell, Hair and JC Superstar in rapid succession. I'm sure this has some effect on my personality but I'm uncertain what. And it's better than the day I did both Chesses and Cabaret. *Dismal*.
Not as much hate today, which is good because I had to talk on the phone with somebody from Enterprise and set up an interview with her for Monday. First interview in quite a while (temp agencies notwithstanding). We'll see how it goes.
Gaskell's ball this weekend, and Megs' Feng Shui game, and maybe hanging out with Jeff and the Algorhythm crowd.
Today one of my Corvallis geek friends was on 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'. Dunno how he did, but apparently pretty dang well.

"Today one of my Corvallis geek friends was on 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'."
Good lord, man, who?? (Yeah, here I am blindly assuming it was a Corvallis geek friend of mine, too. And as a former boss used to say, "'Assume' makes asses of us all." [sic])
Oregon Geeks
Re: Oregon Geeks
Yes, you'd think so, wouldn't you? Kurt has purchased a 2001 Jetta, though, and I had the pleasant opportunity to be in attendance while he dropped somewhere between $250 and $400 on strippers in the course of five hours.
Then, of course, there's Unca Sam's cut of 48% on cash prizes, and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to have to loan Kurt lunch money....
