I helped him carry his cross through town
So White Knights Ltd is back in business, part time. Missed the plane to Florida due to lack of space, and instead ended up driving to Sacramento yesterday to help Rachel retrieve her glasses. Almost saw Dennis and Sarah for lunch. Spent lots of time in the car, which I think set me up for this next bit.
Just after noon today, I went to my room and found that the furry evil beasts had knocked over the fan which makes the summer tolerable. I bent down to pick it up, knees bent and everything like you're supposed to, and all on the sudden I was on the floor on my back trying to breathe. There was a long narrow strip of burning muscle across my lumbar area and it reminded me of Dave's shower incident. But with a lack of movement and some of Leigh Ann's muscle relaxant I am now sitting quietly on the couch and Cindy is bringing me dinner and Rachel is bringing me more drugs and maybe fruit juice.
I am now very glad for those extra couple of days off. And sooner or later I plan to get up and get an ice thingie out of the freezer.
