Charlie how'd your angels get down like that?

I've just taken on what may be a big creative project. I need to do a write up for the past gaming session. I am nearly done with three or four mix discs. I had a twelve hour day at work today, I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow before work, I have email I haven't answered and Raven just sent me a big file I have to read.
So I spent the past two hours (wait for it.....) making a new LJ icon.

...but it is a dandy & witty icon, so that's good.

Mustn't allow ambition to get the best of one, darling. :)

Have you been listening to the Rathergood.com Kitten's version of that song?

(Love the new icon too, BTW.)

Yes. Yes he has.

Speaking of which, I need to find that song. I'm lousy at tracking these things down, even though (I think) I know the artist and title. Perhaps the clever 'yote can help?

It's by Elbow, and it's a cover of Independant Woman. The album is hard to find and off hand I don't recall the name of it but I think it's on Joel's site.

It is, in fact, the *only* version of that song I'm familiar with. I cannot imagine that song without a xylophone and a northern accent. (:
(Yeah, me too. I really really wanted some sort of 'musical' icon and I kept looking for an iPod parody I liked and then I said screw it and made my own.)
