So watch out for those beauties, oh yeah.

Finally got back to the gym last night. Slightly abbreviated workout because I have this chronic fear of waking up in the morning and being unable to move because my muscles have all gone on strike. According to the scale, my punishment for avoiding the gym for three months was a loss of four pounds. If I avoid the gym for another ten years, I should be almost exactly at my target weight.

EDIT: I was browsing old entries, because Audiography is having a 'what were you listening to a year ago?' theme this week. A year ago, I was ripping Green Day. Twelve months later, I'm ripping Love and Rockets. That's progress on a glacial stage.

FURTHER EDIT: My friend Jess, the beautiful and talented author of the Venezia trilogy, has a friend competing in a rope bondage competition. I know there are folks on my list who like that sort of thing, and might be interested in this competition. If you're one of those people, wander over here for more information, or here for the official contest home page. I don't see anyplace for people (like me) with less experience in the genre to see their work, so if you don't know the names you're kind of in the dark.

EVEN FURTHER EDIT: God damn it my fucking desk top is really pissing me off. Lots of random choke ups, and a complete failure to be able to read CDs, with the constant shutting down of the music playing software to boot. I may be a little irritable still but this is really beyond the pale. God damn it.

MORE EDIT AS IT'S NOW A RUNNING THEME: A couple of days ago I made a concentrated effort to locate some porn I haven't seen for a while. Two hours later, my room was significantly more tidy. Admittedly, there was still no porn. However, I wonder. If I buy more porn will my room be cleaner?

You wish to lose 160 pounds? You'd have to hold still for ten minutes to cast a shadow, you'd be so thin.

Hrmmmm.... ratio is 4/3 months.... 120 months.... Yeah, the math is bad there. I think I'd only have to avoid the gym for six years or so.

Exactly what do you believe your target weight is? You don't, to my eye (and arms, having hugged you recently) appear to need to lose 100 pounds. Remember, an ample quantity of that is muscle, and more will be if you continue at the gym.

Actually, yeah, I think that weighing 175 would probably not be a bad thing. However, I'm remaining flexible and if I start losing weight I may change my mind on that point. Nearly 300 is definitely way more than I'm comfortable with.

Fair enough. Me, I'm pretty pleased when I'm within a couple of 200. Must generate more time for the gym. And writing. And fixing the house.

Must generate more time. This job thing has just got to go.

By the time I get to 210, I may be perfectly happy. I've got a big frame, and my shoulders are almost ludicrous, so I'm pretty willing to be flexible as I get closer. But right now, it's pretty much a moot point. (:
Yeah, need more time for writing. And ripping music, and making CDs. And working out. And learning another language. And visiting friends. And watching movies. And cleaning my room. And visiting friends who are far away. And washing the car. And reading. And dancing. And getting back into theatre--probably just acting at first, but maybe directing again later. Did you see Lone Star?

[identity profile] mnarra.livejournal.com 2005-11-17 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I did not see Lone Star. One imagines a western motif, without really knowing anything about the show. :toddles off for a web search:

Lone Star and Laundry and Bourbon are a paired set of one-acts that served as my directing debut, just before I moved to CA. It's about three men, and later three women, in Texas. Author is.... McClure, I think.

porn = clean

I think you have to buy more porn and then forget where you put it. [Insert own obscene image here.] Is that worth the effort? Up to you. Personally, I wouldn't bother. But then my flat looks like a huricane hit the DMV with a few instruments and drum harnesses thrown in. And, gosh dern it, I no longer have time to mind.

P.S. Will be up for Thanksgiving weekend.

Yay! I'm working through the weekend, but I should be off Sunday. If I find some porn, do you want to watch it? (:

Well, I do have to return home on Sunday (and panic over the Christmas parade), but it is not as far now. Maybe we can work out a short visitation.

Porn, however, is not particularly to my liking.

I would like any sort of visitation. I could also try for Saturday before work, if we need.

I really don't think that porn will clean your room. I went to AZ for a month and came home to find that the house fairy had not been there. Thanks for the help with visiting my grandkids. Call sometime and I will tell you about it. Lady

Full moon still getting to you?
