Yeah, the blessings, at the moment I was most alone
This is my Thankful Posting, a good two weeks late. And no, no LJ-cut on being thankful.
I want to thank everybody who had good thoughts for me yesterday, because I could really use them. Really really.
I want to thank September for babysitting me after the collision.
I want to thank Jess and Raven for having nice things to say about me in the past couple of days.
I want to thank Rachel and Ron for offering the loan of their little red car until mine was drive-able.
I want to thank Rachel for helping me with my CD extravaganza, and for making cinnamon rolls.
I want to thank Liem, who was done hammering my car into drive-able shape an entire day earlier than expected so I didn't need to borrow the little red car.
I want to thank Raven and Ellie for giving me a project which excites me and creatively inspires me, even if I let it stress me out.
I want to thank Tersa for putting up with me, and hanging out and chatting with me, and making food, and helping me when money was uncomfortably tight, and lots of other things that contribute to her being a housemate that I have been more than glad to live with for the past five years.
I want to thank my mom, who is going to forgive me for not calling her yet.
I want to thank Coyote for offering to teach me so many valuable lessons even if I ask very very nicely that he not do so.

I am, fwiw, up for more paper cutting should you need further assistance. Plus, I'm trying again with the cinnamon rolls.

Rolls. Ugh. I'm giving up yeast for awhile. *sigh* I made another batch, after the first batch didn't rise... This time, I was SO care ful, but by the time I got it out of the bread machine, it had already over-risen!! Eek! I tried to make it work... just adding some flour to cut down on the stickiness. I rolled it out, added the butter, sure, and cinnamon. Then rolled it up- err, well, tried to. I ended up making the carmel, balling up the dough, and just pinching off rolls and tossing them in to the carmel sauce and pan.
Well, it's a yummy mixture, but most assuredly weird and wrong. *Sigh*
Give me a week, and I'll try again.
