Built up to keep from running out--I've seen the needle and the damage done

Have now seen the premieres for Buffy and Angel (no hyperlink because I'm feeling lazy and because if you don't know what I'm talking about you're too straight to be reading this journal.) In any case, feeling pretty satisfied with both, and uncertain if I really have anything else to say.
Today was pretty much a repeat of past days--it was hot, I followed up on a couple of job things and generated a handful of new ones, I did dishes and cleaned house some, Stuart and Amy came over and watched television, and I read more of the Adventure! book.
Third verse, same as the first: a little bit louder and a little bit worse.

Ah, the inherent danger of this sort of communication. Most of life is entirely boring, although most seem to expect otherwise. The "hurry up and wait" syndrome. Then there's the thought that if your life was extremely interesting then you wouldn't have time to write at all. Then there's the thought that if the Earth suddenly stopped we'd all go flying off. Why aren't we wearing seat belts?
