For those with no contact with ebonlock, seachange, aberrantvirtue, irismoonlight, jesshartley or anyone else who's posted this:
Cecelia Fire Thunder, President of the Pine Ridge Oglala Tribe, has taken offence to the attempts by the South Dakota lege to restrict a woman's reproductive options, calling it a 'question of sovereignty'. It appears she has been convinced to take on the task of getting a Planned Parenthood clinic on the Rez, outside the jurisdiction of South Dakota State law.
As anybody who's seen Thunderheart knows, any rez in South Dakota is dirt poor and I expect she could use a few bucks to help get this set up.

So my followup appointment with Dr. Ramar was today. I told him I had not seen a dramatic change in the past month. I discussed my painfully dry mouth and he wants to up my air pressure another cubic inch, get me a chin strappy thing and have me use some sort of nose spray.
I don't know what I have planned for this weekend but I'm already there, mentally. All I want to do is sit in my room and rip CDs and watch NetFlix. But maybe the weekend after that a trip to Bakersfield.
We get a Raven! Yay!
Raven is moving north! We will get to casually invite her over without trying to figure out where she will crash for the night or if she'll miss work or if she can afford a plane ticket!

I would love, love, love to see you, especially before I move again. Could you please let me know some dates you have in mind? Even they are of the "sort-of-kinda-maybe-thinking-about-it-perhaps" kind. I am about to have two interviews scheduled for the week of April 3rd. And one of these will be for a super-sweat position in La Jolla.

I'd probably make it a short trip--flying in on Sunday morning and out again on Monday. If that weekend is bad for you, then it's not like I can't put it off. When are you moving? And how far?
