Drowning past regrets in tea and cigarettes

Does anybody local own a copy of Mono's 'Formica Blues'?
I'm mid-Ms in my CD ripping, and it appears that disc is damaged to the point where the last two tracks (Hello Cleveland and the Alice remix of Life in Mono) skip even when they're an mp3 file. Worse to worst, I can probably get the two tracks off of Rhapsody for a couple of bucks, but I hate paying for something I own. (:

Yes.

Remind me next time I'm coming and I can bring it, or if my DSL ever gets activated, I can rip and email.

If you need it sooner thn that, I should still have it in my binder.
I can go digging tonight if you'd like.

There's no rush on this at all.
But if you happen to be digging anyway and discover it.... (:

What format/bitrate/etc?

The binder is right on my desk, and it's the one with the Ms in it.

Ummmmm. mp3 is the format and lemme go back to the desktop to find out what my default rate is.... 128kbps

[identity profile] roisnoir.livejournal.com 2006-04-04 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
That low? Wow...
(I rip at 192 usually.. you CAN hear the difference when it's played on a good boombox.)

What email should I send to, and is there anything else you're looking for? I've got a fairly eccelectic collection, though not much *new* stuff.

That's the highest bitrate listed on my software. (: It says "CD quality (128kbps)". I don't know any better.
Um. cyranocoyote AT yahoo DOT com is a good address, and... um. I don't immediately think of anything else that got screwed up--My 'Eurrythmics Greatest Hits' CD was stolen but I borrowed a copy from the library, and I had ripped most of the Depeche Mode tribute album before that got stolen. But as I hit bumps in my ripping journey, I usually kvetch to LJ.
