But the rock cried out, No Hidin' Place
And oh yeah! I forgot I wanted to include this one.
Matt Johnson, the guy who pretty much *is* The The, is one of those kinds of Christians who helps me remember that they're not all hypocritical raving Jesus freaks, and that most Christians are good people who just don't make good press because they're not insane.
He did a tribute album to Hank Williams (the senior) called Hanky Panky and one of my favorite tracks off it is called I Saw the Light.
EDIT: poop. I had meant this to go to the Audiography community. (: But you all should also enjoy it too. This week's theme, in case you hadn't guessed, is gospel.

But I'd say that ripping on people who call themselves Christian and then do amazingly unChristian things is very 'Jesus and the Money Changers', and so doesn't preclude his being of the faith.
No, I'm not sure at all any more.

I *adore* his cover of Your Cheatin' Heart.
Matt Johnson's voice has always been swoony, though.

Seriously. All of them.

So do you have a preference between the seventh and the fourteenth?
