Easy as 1 2 3
I watched Papillon and Clerks II tonight. One of them suffered from proximity.
Dustin Hoffman was excellent, but there were no dance numbers with the penal colony inhabitants. Clerks II is Kevin Smith at the top of his script writing and directing game, to my mind. I need to see it again because I lost a lot of dialogue while laughing. This is the film that I wanted J&SBSB to be, and I feel like it really closes the Jersey storyline much more satisfyingly. And yes, having moved to California about ten years ago, a lot of the storyline hit a little close to home. There were, of course, cameos. But they weren't the story, which was really a heart warming coming of age whateveritis. It's hot and my brain is not for the linear or the well presented, so suck up and deal. I want to get a Mooby's employee shirt now.
EDIT:
Egad. Not for $55, I don't.
EDIT:
That reminds me. Who did I loan my DVD of Clerks X to?

Also sorry about yesterday; I got to Christy's way later than expected, had to redo the hem on my Gryffindor robes, and then we got the hell out of the heat. Next time I'm up, could I come by to try to get those CDs working? And I have a postcard for you!
