Every day I forget the book

Okay, here's a warning:
I forgot my book today ("Misquoting Jesus" by Ehrman, which is proving in only the first chapter to already be a fascinating read) and so y'all are responsible for entertaining me tonight.
If you can't be entertaining then just go and ask me a question on the previous post or send me links to interesting articles (I've got one myself to post tonight) or send me provocative pictures of you or something.
Also, somebody go to www.kittensofdarkness.net and tell me how effin' cool it is--something about the code breaks my browser and I can't actually look at it from work.

That's fascinating. Although I resist the idea that these suicides are 'directly attributable' to the song. 'Directly linked' perhaps would make me happier, but I doubt these people were living their happy fulfilling lives, stumbled upon a gypsy band playing this haunting song, and then decided that life was no longer worth living.

Well, no, not 'directly attributed' and I think even 'linked' might be too strong. I just like the more interesting urban legend version because it blames a non-rock song of the 1930s for the same sort of thing currently attributed to Judas Priest or something...

Okay, cool. Was it good? or bad?

And, uh. Wow. In entertaining myself, I am going through my Amazon recommendations and stumbled on a movie that involved the actor Martin Cummins and hockey and I went 'Ooo!' so I added it to the Netflix queue and then I saw it was categorized as 'Gay & Lesbian' and went O_O and thought "Wow, C-- is going to go O_O" if he sees this notice go out when he didn't add it to the queue.

So, I'm uh, telling you now, so you can go O_O now and not when you get the notice. :)
