I was trying to find the picture of the baby panda in today's SFChron for spenceraloysius because she digs the panda. I was utterly unable to find it, alas, but I did find this article on Tony Jaa, The Protector, wuxia, martial arts films, and martial arts (specifically eastern forms). It was a puff piece, but lots of it was interesting reading, and now I really really want to see that movie.

For those art fans among you, two stolen Edward Munsch paintings have been recovered, including his most notable, 'The Scream'.

Today I had lunch with the lovely Phoenix Heart and I got yummy bad for me pizza so two good things very close together.

There was no article with it (which was probably why I couldn't find it) so I assume it was because the thing was so cute. I think they said it was about three months old and lived in the Sichuan panda center.
