Maybe I should just admit defeat and buy that cinema season ticket thingy.

Am I wrong for wanting to see Crank?

Seeing as 'Crank' is on my list, I can't say as I'd throw any stones here. (: I really enjoyed the Transporter, and this has that same sort of Euro-HongKong look to the trailers. I'll just continue to hope that it's more like Transporter than it is like Transporter II. (:

Flyboys (Sue? Have you heard anything?)

Not a word, but I'm not kind of out of the WWI loop these days. I've looked it up on the IMBD and what I see scares me. OTOH, there is also Jean Reno. I sat through the atrocity that was Matthew Broderick's Godzilla for Jean Reno.

That should read "I'm kind of out of the WWI loop." Don't know where that extra 'not' came from. OTOH, I just woke up.

Good morning. (:
I often find the bed full of 'nots' when I first wake up, and it's a good couple of hours before I can chivvy them along on their way. They dawdle over their breakfast yogurt, they can't find their shoes, it's always something.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the historical accuracy on this one, and was hoping it was good enough that I wouldn't notice anything. That only leaves dull characterization, huge plot holes and action sequences for the sake of filling time.

Well I'd be in for the Illusionist, the Protector, Fearless, the Prestige and God Spoke, no question about it.

And also? District B13 is coming out on DVD--it's currently at the top of my queue.

Haven't heard of that one but you know our taste in films is pretty similar so I'd be game to see it.

[identity profile] cyranocyrano.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
It's another Luc Besson 'dark future of Paris' film. I'm hoping I like it better than Fifth Element.

Aren't Crank and The Illusionist already out? Or am I misreading the cinema signs while driving home everyday?

Hollywoodland looks cool. Not that I know anything film or anything.

[identity profile] cyranocyrano.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
The Illusionist should already be out. If Crank isn't, it should be soon. But since it's September, I shoehorned them in with the massive crowd of September releases.

Not that I know anything film or anything.

Not that I can construct a coherent sentence at work or anything.

Apparently, I am now an object of pity there (at work). *sigh*

Anyone can a word out accidentally. No big deal.
Do they pity you for your lack of keys?
