Just can't get enough

More nattering about Studio 60.
I love that their first guest star was Felicity Huffman. And I love that the production company is called 'Shoe Money'.

I am avoiding Tower Records, and their going out of business sale. It pains me to do so.

I went into a couple and watched people buying armloads of disks that are only 30% off Tower's normally inflated prices as if it were a fire sale - but as a Peninsula native it was kind of sad. Sure they made many bad business decisions. Sure they ripped us off for years by over-pricing their wares. Sure they treated us with contempt when they weren't looking at us as if we were shoplifting...

I'm not really sure now where I'm going with this..

That them acting like dicks, and not especially smart ones, was a Bay Area tradition and seeing it pass creates a certain melancholy?
(And yeah, the fact that the CDs would still be pricier than I'm willing to pay is helping me stay away.)
