And we live beneath the waves

Random notes:
Because I don't have enough to do, I'm working on a few mix discs. The NIN disc, the Ar Noir disc, plus a waltz disc a tango disc a pirates disc and one inspired by Aelf and Rose called Mare Undarum, with art work from the gorgeous images at http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/mapcatalog/LAC/index.shtml
I love maps. I love the moon. I love Latin. I love the names of the seas and oceans on the moon. This site makes my nipples hard.

2. The City In the Sea -- Love Is Colder Than Death
3. Deep Ocean Vast Sea -- Peter Murphy
4. Where Does This Ocean Go? -- Yoko Kanno
5. The Sea Wolf -- Pansy Smith and Violet Jones
6. C'est Pas la Mer a Boire -- Les Negresses Vertes

(If somebody has an mp3 of Gir saying "Awww. He's getting eaten by a shark." I'd love to add that to this mix. I seem to be fresh out of ocean-related pop culture audio snippets.)

Also? I read this article about the massive megahog farms and the pork we eat in Rolling Stone and am very pleased to find it on the web so I can repost it in all its disgusting squalor and environmental taint for others to read.

I've decided I'm going to do a mix disk for you, just for the hallibut.

A couple that I assume didn't make the cut:

Walk on the Ocean, by Toad the Wet Sprocket
Home By The Sea (Parts 1 and 2), by Genesis

This is true, but primarily because I don't own them. (:
I need an oceanic icon.

I can certainly loan you both the relevant albums. They're in my work stash.

I do not object to this plan, if we can ever arrange to be in the same location at the same time again.
