cyrano: (Ahoy! (Klae))

Oo, rock me, Amadeus

In an effort to avoid talking about work, which is making me weep openly today with its heinous clusterfuckery and ineptitude, I instead do the 'Your Favorite Icon' meme, in which I volunteer to tell you which icon of yours inspires the most fondness, artistic appreciation or uncontrollable giggles in me, and I ask if you would be so kind as to repost this meme in your own journal so that replication is completed.
And those of you who have known me for a while will recall me mourning the loss of my pr0n DVD a couple of years back. A couple of years was apparently the amount of time it took me to relisten to Neville Marriner conducting St. Martin's in the Fields in performances of Mozart's last five symphonies. Because there, tucked into the jewel case, was my pr0n! And I'm still annoyed that they cut the 39th in half in order to fit the performances onto two discs.
You know, that whole last paragraph probably says a lot about me.

Me!

Tell me what icon you like best of mine!

(You didn't even say 'do me'...)

I think I'm going to have to institute a rule where the more icons one has, the more favorites I get to choose.
'crows' is definitely a winner--I'm not usually a big fan of animated gifs, but more folk poetry is always good.
'lovely evening' definitely, as I'm a sucker for Mrs. Parker.
'fan' because... it's a lovely fan. ahem.

Which icon of mine takes your mind off work? (Meaning your favorite, of course.)

[identity profile] cyranocyrano.livejournal.com 2007-01-23 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
While 'Peanut Butter Jelly' and 'Lance Gay' are amusing, I'm going with 'Dolphin' as my favorite.

Yay porn!

And do tell me, kind sir, what icon you appreciate of mine.

[identity profile] cyranocyrano.livejournal.com 2007-01-23 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
Yay!

Eeep! Yours don't have titles, but the '40s style Civil Liberties one is a win.

*grin* I like that one, too. (I originally snurched it off've Calluna, see.)

(I continue to like Max, by the way. And your Evil Laugh. And and and LOTS.)

My favorite icon of yours: Sudden but Inevitable

[identity profile] cyranocyrano.livejournal.com 2007-01-23 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
I should encourage this sort of behavior to save time. (:

Going with your own proposed rule about lots of icons, I have to say I'm torn between Queer Eye for Bill Nye, Evil Laugh, and Neural Response as my favorites of yours.

You have lots of icons with you in them, which I approve of because I like to look at you. I like the prom dress attitude, but a bear on the head wins.

Not so big on the icon meme, I desperately want to completely redo mine, if I could ever find the inklination while sitting at the desktop.

But....

...Mozart would have highly approved putting porn in with his symphonies. He was that kind of guy. And that probably labels me as a big musicological nerd.

[identity profile] cyranocyrano.livejournal.com 2007-01-23 06:02 am (UTC)(link)
If you knew what you wanted, I expect you could find somebody who would assist you in your icon scheme.
And if that's the only thing that brands you as a music nerd then somebody's not paying attention. (:

I like the fine art scheme. But I need to find more paintings/artists. Then there's the question of cutting and sizing and the time I don't have.

I'm rather fond of the fine art scheme myself. And if it's just cutting and resizing then I expect that could be arranged.
