Fools step in

Through a combination of a lot of little elements, I'm feeling really disoriented. Laundry didn't get done, but I think I've got enough clean clothing to last me, even if I do get to the gym. (Fingers crossed.) I've just spent way too long shoulders deep in my mp3s because Tavella shared her GCD tracks with me, and they were *MISSING FIELDS*! Some of them didn't have the year they were issued! Some were missing track numbers! You can see why this was so problematic. (For those unfamiliar, they're of the same school as REM and Timbuk3.) I'm certainly not feeling very connected to anything else. Like financial aid paperwork. Maybe a good long night's sleep will clear my head. Let's just hope my body agrees that this is a good thing. Or another finger of vodka is.

In other news, Sarah Silverman is really cute. It makes me wish she was really funny.

You are much more completest about your mp3 info than me!

There were also, so you know, several duplicated files.

Assuming GCD here refers to Guadalcanal Diary, I have two facts that you might not know:

1. Their first album was finally re-released on CD a couple of years ago, thereby making all four studio albums finally available in CD format.

2. They reunited briefly in the mid-90s. I have a t-shirt and a live album. You cannot have the t-shirt, but if you don't have the live album, I can provide. Add it to the long list of things I'm supposed to share with you someday.

From what I'd seen on allmusic, I'd kind of guessed the first. And if the live album is 'At Your Birthday Party' then I've got some of it (four tracks?) and haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.

That is in fact the live album, yes.
