Didn't even have to use my AK

Yay: I crocked up a pot of vegetable slurry which should keep me fed for the week at a cost of about $30. Plus, my first time working with fresh okra.
Boo: Using an entire tin of chipotle peppers may have been excessive. The slurry is kicking my ass.

Yay: Quality time with the housemate, even without video games.
Boo: I never got around to doing the dishes despite several plans to do so.

Yay: A cameo by Angie-kun, who came bearing lovely gifts and hugs, and socialized with us.
Boo: She eventually left.

Yay: After sleeping through last week, this week I got to have lunch with Cindy.
Boo: I need to eat sanely and wisely for the next six months to make up for the food choices I made today.

Yay: I was late for my dental appointment, but the doctor was two minutes later so she didn't notice. I have a new temporary crown and I got several cavities filled.
Boo: It went from a one and a half hour appointment to a three hour appointment. My jaw aches, my lips are chapped and torn, and I bit my tongue. q:

Yay: Cindy helped me find out how to locate an in-network provider to re-evaluate my meds. Said information was behind a padlocked door in a basement with no lights, and no stairs, in a disused lavatory with a sign on it saying "Beware of the Jaguar".
Boo: We found this information at 17:01 and the office was closed promptly at 17:00.

Yay: I had a charming dinner and social evening with Princess Rowan, who is a very good kisser. (Oh! Rowan! Angie says hi! I forgot!) I hope there are more dinners in our future.
Boo: I believe I am destined to be a booty call with sprinkles because she's totally hardcore, whereas I think 'S&M' means 'Sarah McLachlan'.

Yay: I got to help my friend Rose be creative and wonderful.

Yay: I found the CD that I swore to the library I had returned before I ponied up for it.

So we see that the Yays have a clear victory, even without a trip to Watercourse Way or impeachment proceedings beginning.

That's the way life should be. It's nice to see you happier.

Yay for yays! And the slurry thing makes me think about one of my favorite Sokka lines, "Bend the slurry, woman!" It's in season two, you will love it :)
