Lachen und Scherzen belieget die Herzen.

I have now moved on to the next phase of 'cataloguing everything in the world ever'.
I have just begun ripping my copy of Bach's Easter Oratorio and Magnificat in D Major to my hard drive.
Final decision: Composer goes in the 'artist' field, the performer is added to the album name, and a comment field is added when I need to do things like list conductor, orchestra, choral group, significant soloist or other confusing things.

EDIT:
Don't I have anything by composers beginning with 'A'?

There are composer's beginning with A, but most that come to mind wrote obscure saxophone pieces you've never heard of. Then there's John Adams, Malcom Arnold, Leroy Anderson, and the ever-popular Anonymous.

I don't think I'm likely to have a whole CD that I'd file under 'anonymous'. It'd probably end up being filed under the performer, or with a selection of similarly-styled pieces, like the improvizational baroque pieces or the polyphonic chants.

If you watched M*A*S*H....

I had been known to partake upon occasion. (:
And David Ogden Stiers conducted a local symphony.
