Bah. Stupid Sims. I received the Pets expansion as a gift, and it turns out the second disc (while clearly labelled "Disk 2 Sims 2 Pets") is actually the Happy Holidays "Disk full of stuff".
I contacted EA, who told me to contact Amazon. If they tell me to contact EA, then both of them will receive unpleasant letters. (If you could email me the Amazon order number, I would appreciate it. I may need it, and of course I threw out the packaging.) However, I can now put a yuletide tree in the living room for my mad scientist and vampire housemates.
