I only ever read Ender's Game (my consistent problem with Card is that his stories tend to take on that long, rambling feeling that says nothing so much as "this person has no idea where the story is going", as well as develop artificial crises both internal and external that suddenly happen with no setup or warning or, y'know, believability), but I've met people who're passionate enough about it to have exactly that reaction. =D
