Things unrelated to going blind and thus forgotten last night:

Saw a Chevy van on my street, for sale cheap. Admired it briefly, noted the automatic transmission, and thought about driving something with cargo space.

I've been asked to play DJ for an event next weekend. Told to think of it as a barbeque. I've never scored a barbeque before, and I have the impression that my tastes are rather eclectic for the mainstream; the crowd will not be your average level 'straights', will instead be the young Silicon Valley crowd. So I'm taking suggestions on the playlist, as I'll be burning CDs as soon as I assemble enough music.

i am in this funky place where everything is getting blurry. except the comp veiwer. went to FRY"S last night and found i couldnt read anything for more than a minute or so.
