I have tickets for 14 June to see ACT's production of 'Tis Pity She's a Whore.
I just found out that Impact Theatre is also doing a production of it until 07 June.
I know people have expressed an interest in this show, and right now I'm strongly tempted to see both productions.
Who's with me?

Whenever I see the phrase "Who's with me?" I always find myself tempted to raise a torch and pitchfork and let out some sort of primal mob-oriented yell...

I did this show in college at SFSU. It's a great show. They set it in the 14th century, although I have seen pictures of it set in the '30's.

We've been looking forward to the ACT production since back in October when we bought Sweeney Todd tickets!

Ooohh how was their "Sweeny Todd" ? That is a tough show to pull off. Again, did that at SFSU. I was head wardrobe and I have stories to tell...

I enjoyed it--I haven't seen the old version, but I liked the intimacy of having the musicians on stage--it enhanced the horror of the situation, especially as the bloodied costumes started to build up.
You should tell me stories some time. (:
