When I was a child, I had a fever

Today was a day of mighty redecorating. Part of the carnage is a lot of VHS tapes. I'm reluctant to just throw them away, because they're not bad movies but I'm unlikely to ever get out the VHS player and watch them.
Is there a charitable organization, or something like that, where people would say "Hey, two or three boxes of VHS tapes! That sounds great!"? Maybe some sort of historical re-enactment society that gets together on weekends and listens to Cyndi Lauper and rats their hair?

Half Price Books may still take video tapes. That might be worth the first shot. Then maybe library.

You should post the list, though. I still have a VCR, and I'm not afraid to use it!

Uhrrr. That sounds like a lot of work. But if nothing else, they'll probably still be lying about when you're in town and you can browse them. (:

Around here, the Salvation Army stores have quite a few shelves of VHS tapes, and there's enough of a turnover to justify giving them more.

Libraries are also good places to donate VHS tapes.

BookBuyers also takes VHS on their buying days, so you may be able to get a little bit of cash out of them that way Or else library, yeah; they can try reselling them at their own sale, if nothing else!

Hey, do you by any chance have our VHS copy of "The Curse of Fatal Death"?

Alas, I do not. I have heard good things about it, and would like to see it sometime, so if it gets located perhaps I should come over.
(I do have a CD that I'm pretty sure is yours, and want to bring it by. I can't recall the name of it offhand but it's in my room.)
