Today we went to CostCo and of course I ended up with shit I didn't need.
The prize SIDN was a seven DVD box set entitled "Controversial Classics:7 Groundbreaking Movies That Made a Difference".
Advise and Consent, Bad Day at Black Rock, Blackboard Jungle, the Americanization of Emily, a Face in the Crowd, I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang and Fury.
According to the packaging, upon its release in 2005 none of these titles had been available on DVD before.
I'm an artsy farsty sucker for this crap, and for $5 a title, I will buy that and take it home.

Those are some great films, too. I really liked A Face in the Crowd, and it's really strange seeing Andy Griffith being such a dick if your primary memory of him is reruns of The Andy Griffith Show.

It really is a good collection. I couldn't afford it, but I couldn't resist it.
