What I believe is the last of the unfortunate, unexpected casualties of swapping to the new computer: one of my porn sites. (Failure to bookmark combined with lack of history.)
I will look into Foxmarks. However, the problem is not FireFox, it's me. I forgot to bookmark this site--I had discovered it and was reading through it when we moved computers. I had meant to bookmark it, and did not. And since I'm on a new hard drive, it means that the URL isn't in the browser's memory.
Wait. I copied all your bookmarks over. We had discussions about it, because I ended up having to point you at a file when Firefox just flatly refused to acknowledge that the file was where it was supposed to be.
Though I'll second the recommendation for Foxmarks.
No no no. Failure to bookmark is my failure to bookmark the site before the transfer. I meant to, and I had it open in the window, I just forgot to follow up.
Ever see the play "Avenue Q"? Like Sesame Street for grownups. VERY funny; I highly recommend it. Anyway, one of the songs (it's a musical) is "The Internet is for Porn" sung by Trekkie Monster (the analogue of Cookie Monster, naturally) and this post reminded me of it.
