Today at Safeway I did something that entitled me to a gift card for an Arco gas station--$6 worth. Of course, this was literally eight minutes after I'd filled my tank, and this is the tail end of the promotion, so the card must be used by Friday. So anybody who needs two or three gallons of gas before Friday and can get the card from me in time, let me know.

Oooh, if I start driving now, I could get to you before Friday...hmm, driving 2,000 miles to get a $6 gas card? then driving 2,000 miles back? doing four border crossings after having to pay to super-expedite a passport?

...so totally worth it.
