cyrano: (Not what I seem)

Won't get fooled again

Last year I considered the idea of actually celebrating my birthday on the first. This year I'm considering it more. The weather is better. It seems appropriate, especially given that somebody else has taken All Hallow's Eve, for me to claim the day as my own.

Aww. But if you change your birthday to April, you'll ruin my plans for a Combined Birthday Celebration of Awesomeness. :P

I didn't say I was giving up the initial birthday. (:
I'm far too greedy for that, especially if somebody is *planning* birthday stuff involving me.

And yet, you don't want to stay for my version of the Combined Birthday Celebration of Awesomeness.

(Admittedly, I can see why you might prefer to spend it with, you know, people you've met before.)

Of course, if Rose wants to have a combined celebration, this makes me wonder when her birthday is, since if hers is close to yours, then it follows that hers would also be close to mine.

It's within striking distance. We could organize a three way party, somewhere geographically convenient to each of us. Say, California. There's this hot tub I know that would be a fantastic place for a party.

Mine is already a two-way party (three, sort of, but eventually the toddler will probably grow up enough to want his own party, and his inclusion is a longish story anyway), so at a minimum we'd have to make it a four-way party and include John (July 1st) as well.

I don't see a problem with this.

Celebrate!

If you celebrate on April 1, then you'll be older than me. And I just can't have that.
