If I fall asleep at my desk? *That* is when it is okay to dream about work. Otherwise, there needs to be a clear division of territory and maybe a DMZ.
Are you on-call? Because that would be explainable. I, on the other hand, am firmly off the clock at three in the morning, and I expect to be paid time and a half for dreaming overtime. Especially given how hard I was working.
I have never in my life been on call, for good reason. Even when John is on call, I've made it clear that the call ends at his half of the bed, and if there's a late-night problem, he can deal with it without me.
Has never stopped me from dreaming about work, though.
