Doin' it wrong

I've put in another couple of hours of research on the SteamPunky San Francisco novel, lots of it about the MidWinter Fair of 1894, and I still have NO FUCKING CLUE what the story is going to be about.
However, in other news, there was brief unexpected rain. I got to slip out on the porch until it stopped.

EDIT: Rained again. Drenched now.
