It's a world of warcraft, a world of lootz; it's a world of fishing, a world of n00bz

So after months (years?) of hearing all my friends talk about their new Nightelf Necromancer and the quest for their mastodon pet, of massive fifty player raids being organized, of desperately waiting for the new download to go live, of how to best complete your purple set, of where in the Nephilim Suburbs to score the best herb, of which server had the coolest RP, I've finally done it.
I reinstalled Diablo. I have a third level Rogue who has more mana potions than she can use in her lifetime. (Which, if she doesn't up her to-hit percentages, isn't going to be long, I can tell you.)

Woo! Just remember to come up for air and water now and then, the game will pause. (I'm so glad you didn't install WoW. I've successfully avoided it thus far, but if you joined the collective I might have to try it out too, and that would be the end of any productive work out of me.)

You could get *lots* of productive work! You could farm gold! Or get a flying mount! (Which, I discovered recently, is *not* an advanced gymnastics move.)

Actually, the flying is about the only thing I actually miss about WoW. I found it incredibly cool to be able to just jump up in the air and fly. But I wouldn't recommend getting into it. WoW is MMO grade school recess. Try LotRO. It's the high school drama club of MMOs

So.... does that mean no freeze tag?

Actaully, LotRO does have tag, over in Bree-fields, as I recall.

WoW has battlegrounds, which involve a lot of capturing towers and flags. The freeze tag part is called "roots" and it involves getting killed, so I don't think it counts.
