Just a reminder that Matt Nathanson will be in town on Thursday (before jetting off to Chicago), playing free in downtown San Jose. I'm catching light rail down after work, and would be glad to keep you company if you wanted. I don't know the opening band, but I want nice seats. (Last time, seeing Vanessa Carlton, I got jammed up against a tree surrounded by hyperactive children.)

Suspended is very good. I also dig All Been Said Before, Pretty the World, Fall to Pieces, Princess, and Weight of it All enough to put them all on my universal greatest hits playlist. He does have a knack for hitting painful truths sometimes, and there are a couple that almost hurt to listen to for that reason.
