I could be wrong, but I'm not.

So I was reading yesterday's Chron. Which was obviously a bad idea. There was an article about how abyssmal the two main candidates for governor were, as well there should be. These two appear to be having a competition to see who can be the most corrupt or inept.
And they quoted Dick Riordan (one of the earlier possibilities for the position) saying that the 'two party system' was terribly important to America, and that he was telling everybody that they really ought to vote for Simon.
Apparently the Chron also thinks that the one party system is very important, because every single one of the five alternates they listed in their 'write in' section was a Republicrat.

I'm not going to like voting in November. This might be the year I actually vote my ideology (libertarian) just so I can say I didn't vote for the loser who won.

But do not let it be said that Gray Davis is dumb. He got rid of the only guy who could defeat him, Riordan, in the primary. Riordan wasn't that bad as LA Mayor.

No, Davis isn't competing well on the ineptitude front.
And I probably would have voted for Riordan if he'd run.
Shall we still expect to see you next weekend?

Yes, yes. I've been finalizing my plans with my folks. I have you penciled in for Sunday (which you are not sharing with Sunny).
