Okay, I was going to do a quick review of Amy's Choice and Shrek II:Electric Shrekaloo, but I just went to the UD website to loop for some black lipstick and....

WTF HAPPENED TO URBAN DECAY???

It's gone from tongue in cheek kind of edgy alternamakeup to a sort of Macy's Hot Topic. $22 for lipstick? No nail enamel on sale at all? I am boggled. And I shouldn't have cleaned out my make up drawer before I moved, obviously.

UD has been uber-pop for a long time. At least two years.

Hrmph. I see they still have Oil Slick in the lipsticks at least.

It's very sheer, though. I still love UD - mostly because their eyeshadows are awesomely pigmented. But they're definitely not as edgy or alternative as they used to be.

This is what I get for working in a costume shop and then moving away--I lose track of the scene. But I got some high quality green cream base out of it.
