So there are storylets I've missed, and may now have no chance of entering, but how does one become a Student of the Correspondence, or Unaccountably Peckish?
Online, advice on how to become a SotC is to go to the Forgotten Quarter and 'search for evidence'. Unfortunately, that path requires you to be a SotC already, and thus the recursive element makes this a less than desirable path.

I eventually pulled off SotC with some of the much higher-level watchful pathways in the FQ. Peckish I still haven't seen the route to, but I suspect it's not a happy thing.

If I'm up to 90, is it possible that I'd need to lower my stat in order to find that pathway?

I have no idea. I stopped leveling on purpose once I hit the content cap, so I'm not that far. It's probably a rare/uncommon outcome on one of the things you've already done. You may have noticed that, that there are events where some things happen only sometimes as a consequence.
