Scott Pilgrim questions

So, we had Stephen Stills and Young Neil. Was there a Crosby or a Nash anywhere in there?
The other two band members are Kim and Scott, so I'm not seeing it there.

Also, posing a conceit. What if, like Hill Street Blues, the entire film is a construct of Neil's video-game focused mind?

Did I just BLOW? YOUR? MIND?

We've been reading the GNs recently but haven't seen the film yet. I've been keeping an eye out for a Nash or Crosby, but haven't seen either as of the end of v4.

Who was Stephen Stills?

The one cute thing I noticed is that Scott wore a couple of different Smashing Pumpkins shirts (Zero, and the SP shirt). The latter of those made me smile, because it was his initials too. :)

The "Zero" was also a nice counterpoint to the "3" shirt that the third ex wore.

Indeed. My boyfriend noticed a bunch of other number references with the other exes as well, but the 3 was the only one I remember catching.

Stephen was the lead guitar.

I don't remember a Crosby or a Nash, but "Young Neil" strikes me as a Neil Young reference. Not that it can't be both.

And when paired with Stephen Stills, it really sounds like there's a CSNY reference in there somewhere. I'm just missing half of it.

St. Elsewhere, not Hill Street Blues. (This comment brought to you courtesy of please can I have some of those '80s-dedicated neurons back now?)

You are correct, sir, and I laud your superior knowledge.
