One of the things about being a cultural magpie is that my head is stuffed with references.
When I woke up this morning, the line "Last night I dreamt about California again" was echoing through my head. I'm guessing it had something to do with a dream I had. But I couldn't place the reference, and I spent all morning racking my brain, getting no relief until I could run a quick Google on the phone during my first break in morning class.
